Pascal who initiated the project, and his brother Eric have been crisscrossing Morocco in their SUVs for more than 20 years.
They are both keen travelers, particularly in Africa, and have been taking part in organizing car rallies, most particularly the Rallye Aicha des Gazelles for the past 10 years.
Whether it’s on-trail or off-trail, the area holds virtually no secrets for them anymore.
As thoroughly enamored with Morocco as their sons, Christian and Andrée bring a family-like dimension to TIFINA by their presence there.
The idea we started out with was simple: to create a high-end campsite like the one we so often dreamt of during our long journeys.
The choice of the name TIFINA shows our keenness to involve the local population in the success of this project. It is an abbreviation of “tifinagh” which means the Berber tongue. TIFINA invited you to come and discover the area and its rich and authentic culture while enjoying the kind of comfort and services you would be expecting.
